Roadstar Racing will team up with George Chou’s Taiwan Top Speed this weekend, as the TCR International Series and TCR Asia Series join forces on the streets of Singapore.
Roadstar Racing will again field a three-car entry this weekend, having run cars for Japanese Masahiko Ida, Filipe Clemente de Souza and Samson Chan in the TCR Asia season opener in Malaysia.
Chou will replace Ida in the team’s SEAT León, in which he completed a number of shakedown laps in Sepang two weeks ago. Chou missed the season opener as he was concentrating on the GT Asia Series 3-Hour endurance race at the venue.
The Taiwanese driver was in Italy earlier in the week, testing at the Fiorano circuit for his Top Speed Racing Team.
Chou’s team-mates de Souza and Chan are currently tied in seventh overall in the TCR Asia Series championship on 16 points following the first three races.
