Team BMR’s Jason Plato has taken pole position for the second British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) race of the season, with race one poleman Andy Priaulx starting alongside him on the front row.
Race one winner Rob Collard will start from fourth but carries 75 kg of success ballast for race two, as a result of rule changes introduced during the winter.
Poleman Plato will carry 57 kg of ballast, whilst Priaulx, who slipped down the order in race one, has to carry just 15 kg for finishing in ninth.
