Jack Goff has been reprimanded and given two penalty points on his licence for a clash with Rob Austin Racing’s Hunter Abbott in first practice at Donington Park.
The Triple Eight Racing driver, who shares the lead of the championship, collided with Abbott’s Audi at the end of the Starkeys straight while he was on a flying lap.
Triple Eight have appealed the decision, with an appeal expected to be heard at 14:00 BST.

Goff had already accumulated two points on his licence this season before the incident, after colliding with Team BMR’s Aron Smith at Brands Hatch.
