Serbian World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) driver Dušan Borković has withdrawn from the remainder of the season, after a challenging start to the season with Proteam Racing.
The 2.07 metre (6 ft 9 in) racer has frequently struggled with the seating position in his Honda Civic, with further issues in Marrakech despite changes being made to the seating position and the steering column.
There have also reportedly been issues with the specification of certain components on the Serb’s Honda, with Borković citing issues with the brakes and dampers in a post on his Facebook page over the weekend.
Furthermore, Borković has recently suffered from the loss of his father, and these issues combined led to him withdrawing from Sunday’s two races in Morocco.
A press conference regarding Borković’s withdrawal from the rest of the season has been scheduled for Friday.
