British Touring Car Championship tyre supplier Dunlop has revealed the field’s soft tyre allocations for today’s three races at Donington Park.
Matt Neal, who shares the lead of the championship with Jack Goff, is one of 11 drivers who has elected to run the soft compound in race one, as well as the likes of Adam Morgan, Josh Cook, Tom Ingram and Aiden Moffat, who all secured top-ten positions for today’s first race in qualifying yesterday.
Both MGs will run the soft tyre in race two – opting not to use them during their Triple Eight Racing team’s 500th race in the series – while Rob Austin and Hunter Abbott will do the same in their pair of Audis.
The ailing West Surrey Racing BMWs of Rob Collard, Sam Tordoff and Andy Priaulx will all use the softs in the third race, as will Jason Plato.
