Audi’s Nico Müller was the fastest driver in second free practice for the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters at Zandvoort, as Audi drivers secured the top four positions in the session.
Swiss Müller was on top of the times throughout the hour long session, posting his time of 1:31.607 in the opening minutes. Indeed there was little change in the timesheets throughout, with Phoenix Audi’s Mike Rockenfeller in second and Abt Audi’s Edoardo Mortara in third by the 15-minute stage of the session.
Rosberg Audi’s Jamie Green made it an Audi top four in the final minutes of the session, 0.181 seconds off the pace of his younger team-mate.
Timo Glock was the top BMW driver in fifth, having been in the top five throughout the session.
Christian Vietoris put the new Mercedes-Benz C-Coupé sixth in his second practice session inside the new car, and the 25-year-old was the driver for the marque inside the top ten.

Abt Audi’s Adrien Tambay was seventh fastest, ahead of Schnitzer BMW’s Bruno Spengler in eighth. Audi’s Mattias Ekström and Timo Scheider completed the top ten for Abt Sportsline and Phoenix Racing respectively.
Vitaly Petrov failed to post a time in the session as a result of his crash at turn three in first practice, although Mercedes have now repaired the damage to his car in preparation for qualifying.
Qualifying takes place at 14:45 CEST (13:45 BST).
