Engstler Motorsport has confirmed that it will run TC2 BMWs for Filipe Clemente de Souza and Mak Ka Lok in the forthcoming Asian rounds of the World Touring Car Championship.
De Souza takes the wheel of the second car which had previously been raced by Pasquale di Sabatino in the European events and Camilo Echevarria in the previous round in Argentina.
The Macanese racer will enter all four Asian rounds in Beijing, Shanghai, Japan and Macau and will thus be eligible for the EuroSport Asia Trophy. De Souza previously raced a Chevrolet Cruze in 2013, having made his début in the front-wheel drive Chevrolet Lacetti two years previously.
Mak Ka Lok will enter only for the season finale in Macau, where he will race a turbocharged BMW for the first time.
Both drivers competed for all three Asian events in 2013, having both made their WTCC début in 2011.
