TOCA has revealed the calendar dates for the 2015 British Touring Car Championship, which sees an unchanged line-up of 30 races to be held over ten race weekends.
The series will once again begin with a pre-season media day and test session at Donington Park, before the racing kicks off at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit on the 4th and 5th April.
The 30 races over the course of seven months will again be of equal distance, and all races will continue to be broadcast live on ITV4.
As will be the case this season and in 2013, the season finale will be held on the iconic Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit.
Following criticism of the decision to race on the International circuit configuration in 2014, due to the lack of overtaking, the Oulton Park event in June will return to the Island layout more commonly seen in the BTCC in recent seasons.
2013 saw some of the biggest crowds in recent times and figures have continued to rise during the 2014 campaign to date. Each venue permits free admission for children – some for up to 16-year-olds – to its BTCC event, further broadening the championship’s appeal among family audiences and the next generation of fans.
2015 BTCC Calendar:
