Campos Racing’s Dušan Borković has been excluded from the results of the second World Touring Car Championship race in Argentina, after his Chevrolet Cruze failed the post-race ride-height inspection.
The Serb originally finished the race in eighth, taking only his fourth points finish of the season. His Campos team have appealed the decision and therefore the results of the race remain provisional.
In TC2, Argentine Camilo Echevarría was demoted from second in class to third (16th to 17th) after he was judged to have been responsible in an incident with Campos Racing’s John Filippi.
There were also fines of €500 handed to Citroën Racing and LADA Sport after their personnel broke helath and safety rules by climbing onto the pit wall to celebrate their drivers podium results in the second race.
