Rob Huff is ready for his fourth visit to the Circuit Moulay El Hassan, held on the streets of Marrakech as he heads into his second event with the ALL-INKL.com Münnich Motorsport team.
His début with the team saw an eventful weekend for Huff, as a qualifying incident left him at the back of the field for the two races at Monza. In the rain on race day, he recovered to finish 6th and 10th in the races, results which leaves him 10th in the Championship on 9 points.
He is hopeful that the SEAT Leon will be competitive on the 4.5km street circuit as he chases his first WTCC victory with the team and their first win since joining the field from the FIA GT1 Series.
“I think the Seat Leon can be competitive here and hopefully my experience and racecraft will mean we can take the fight to the Chevrolets,” explains Huff, who was the maiden victor of the WTCC Race of Morocco in 2009.
“Last year a Seat was on pole here, so we know the car has the speed and hopefully we can do the same here this weekend and challenge for podium finishes,” the 23 time WTCC victor concluded.
