Chevrolet’s Rob Huff was once again quickest in second practice, beating Zengö Dension’s Norbert Michelisz to the top time, as the World Touring Car Championship drivers conituned to get to grips with the new Tianma Circuit on Saturday.

Huff clocked a time of 1 minute 6.360 seconds which was around six tenths slower than he had gone in the earlier session. However it was still good enough to bag the fastest time around the 2.06km circuit. Michelisz came within 0.032 seconds of beating Huff, setting the time in the final 10 minutes of the session.
Alain Menu was third fastest, just ahead of Robert Dahlgren who conituned his strong from to go fourth once again. Yvan Muller was within three tenths of Huff’s time and the Frenchman set the fifth fastest lap.
Having been second in the opening practice session, Tom Coronel was only sixth in second practice.
Colin Turkington conituned his top ten form by setting the seventh fastest time, just nine thousandths of a second quicker than the fastest SUNRED time – surprisingly set by Russia’s Aleksei Dudukalo in eighth.
Kristian Poulsen and Javier Villa completed the top ten times in their BMW 320 TC’s respectively.
In fact it was overall a much better session for the Spanish team. Whilst Gabriele Tarquini still lapped outside the top ten in 11th he was within a second of Huff’s pace. However the Italian decided to stop after just five laps of running after suspecting engine troubles. Pepe Oriola also improved from 19th in the first session to 12th in second practice.
